Meet Our Behavioral Health Provider

Tyler Smathers, LICSW
Tyler Smathers, LICSW, lead of our Behavioral Health Services, is a Doctorate-Level Licensed Social Worker passionate about providing accessible mental health care in rural communities. He earned his Master’s of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and his Doctor of Social Work from Simmons University.

Growing up in a small town in Wyoming, Tyler understands the unique challenges of rural life, including limited access to mental health resources. His personal and professional experiences make him committed to helping people in rural communities live more fulfilling, joyful lives.

Tyler creates a welcoming, supportive space at EARH where patients can comfortably seek support for their mental and emotional well-being.

What is an LICSW?
A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is a highly trained mental health professional who can provide therapy and counseling. As part of EARH’s Behavioral Health Services, our LICSW supports patients with therapy services, mental health assessments, and treatment planning. They work closely with primary care providers and other EARH professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care for the body and mind.
