Job Summary
The wound care nurse supports the nursing department by providing quality care to in the inpatient and outpatient settings. This position assumes the role of wound care, as well as other outpatient care duties. The wound care nurse delivers care using evidence-based practice and is expected to stay abreast of new developments in their practice. The wound care nurse works directly with providers, other nursing staff, and ancillary departments to provide care to the outpatient/inpatient population. The wound care nurse is expected to follow the same guidelines, policies and procedures that are supportive of the Mission/Vision of East Adams Rural Healthcare.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred. Current Washington State RN Licensure with 2 years experience in a hospital setting. Or 2 years experience and current Washington State LPN Licensure.
- Current ACLS, BLS trained; ACLS may be obtained within first year of employment
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing (ADN) preferred but will consider LPN.
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or equivalent certification
RN Wage: $42.78-$55.82
LPN Wage: $29.95-39.08
